Maria Luísa Ramires
Maria Luísa Ramires is a Lisbon based artist, born in Coimbra in 1994.
Ramires has completed the Bachelor´s degree in Painting at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon and the Master´s degree in Art Markets at ISCTE. Ramires lives nowadays in Lisbon, where she works between the virtual and physical realms, combining techniques such as screen printing on textiles, digital work and drawing. She explores the effects of digital media on society, culture, and aesthetics, deconstructing and reconstructing through the overlapping of traditional plastic practices with the intangible that inhabits the virtual.
